  • How do I reserve a unit at the Summit?

    To reserve a unit at the Summit, go to the Documents section and fill out online or download your application and parental guarantee forms. Once completed, email them to Management@BillLunsford.com or bring them to our On-site Leasing Office, located at 2301 Veterans Memorial Pkwy. We will set up an appointment to pick out your unit. After you select your unit, you will put down a deposit equal to one month's rent in order to reserve the unit. This deposit will become your security deposit once you move in. We will make this process as simple as possible for you!   • What is the duration of the lease?

    Leases last for 12 equal installments, beginning August 1st and ending July 25th.

  • What if I want to purchase at the Summit after I've already signed my lease?

    Call the Summit Office at 205-556-0371 and we're happy to help make you make the transition from a tenancy to ownership.

  • How many bedrooms are in each unit?

    We have three floorplans with either one or two bedrooms.

  • What kind of amenities does The Summit offer?

    Wi-Fi equipped pool, sundeck, and patio; Private balconies with two outdoor storage closets; Beautiful grounds and greenspaces that are perfect for pets; Close access to the UA Arboretum and walking trails; 24-hour fitness facility with cable TV; Furnished community/business center; On-site management; Crown molding and ceramic tile finishes; Vaulted ceilings; Free Comcast Digital Cable.

  • How far is it from The Summit to the UA campus?

    Located on Veterans Memorial Parkway (15th Street East), The Summit is roughly 2 miles from campus.

  • Does The Summit come furnished with appliances?

    Yes. Each Summit unit comes furnished with every standard appliance: refrigerator with ice-maker, dishwasher, range/oven, microwave, and a full size washer and dryer.

  • Do the units at the Summit come with furniture?

    No, we have found that most people tend to prefer using their own furniture over the low-grade furniture offered by most apartment and townhouse communities.

  • Do the units have patios or porches?

    Yes, each unit has a large outdoor balcony with two outdoor storage closets.

  • How many parking spaces are provided?

    Parking is not reserved as there are usually plenty of spots available.

  • Is The Summit gated?

    Yes, The Summit is gated, with a 8-foot perimeter fencing around the entire property.

  • What type of on-site security does The Summit provide?

    The Summit was designed for all residents to have peace of mind, and that commitment is ongoing. In fact, we have been selected by the University as a Crimson Choice property for our committment to security and safety every year since the program was founded.

  • Are pets allowed in The Summit?

    Absoluetely, pets are allowed, although an additional security deposit and cleaning fee may apply.

  • How many square feet are in each unit?

    The unit sizes are approximately: 922 square feet (1BR/1BA); 1120 square feet (2BR/2BA); and 1255 square feet (2BR/2BA+). Visit the floorplans pages for detailed measurements.

  • When is rent due?

    Rent is due on the 1st of every month and is late after 5pm on the 6th.  We automatically charge for rent each month. You will need to turn in an Authorization for Recurring Charge form with your lease, and we will file that information with our Credit Card Services provider who will charge your card for your specified amount each month.

  • What does my rent include?

    Your monthly rent includes basic cable TV, pest control, trash, lawn maintenance, and access to all of The Summit's amenities at no additional charge.
