To reserve a unit at the Summit, go to the Documents section and fill out online or download your application and parental guarantee forms. Once completed, email them to summitcoa@gmail.com or bring them to our On-site Leasing Office, located at 2301 Veterans Memorial Pkwy. We will set up an appointment to pick out your unit. After you select your unit, you will put down a deposit equal to one month’s rent in order to reserve the unit. This deposit will become your security deposit once you move in. Leases last for 12 equal installments, beginning August 1st and ending July 25th.

Yes. Each Summit unit comes furnished with every standard appliance: refrigerator with ice-maker, dishwasher, range/oven, microwave, and a full size washer and dryer.
No, we have found that most people tend to prefer using their own furniture rather than pay the upcharge seen at most apartment and townhouse communities that rent furnished units.
Yes, each unit has a large outdoor balcony with two outdoor storage closets. The large private balcony is big enough to accommodate tables & chairs
Parking is not reserved as there are usually plenty of spots available.
Yes, The Summit is gated, with a 6-foot perimeter fencing around the entire property. Each resident is issued a clicker (similar to a garage door opener) used to operate the vehicle gates. There is also and intercom call box for visitors and deliveries. Pedestrian gates are on site as well.
The Summit was designed for all residents to have peace of mind, and that commitment is ongoing. In fact, we have been selected by the University as a Crimson Choice property for our commitment to security and safety every year since the program was founded.

Absolutely, pets are allowed. We do charge a one-time $500 pet fee to residents with pets. This money goes to offset the cost of pet stations with pet waste bags including tending to pet waste in the green spaces, and the general wear and tear of the property. The Homeowners Association also requires that dogs are kept on leash at all times and that dog owners pick up after their furry friends. Most breeds of dogs and cats are allowed, although there are few types of aggressive-breed dogs that our insurance will not allow us to accommodate. We are happy to provide you a copy of that list upon request.
According to the Tuscaloosa County courthouse records, the unit sizes are approximately: 922 square feet (1BR/1BA); 1120 square feet (2BR/2BA); and 1255 square feet (2BR/2BA+). Visit the floor plans page for detailed measurements.
Rent is due on the 1st of every month and is late if not received by 5pm on the 5th day of the month. Most residents set up for us to automatically debit their bank account each month. You will be provided an Authorization for Digital checking form when you move in, and if you choose to participate we will file that information with your bank.
Your monthly rent includes trash, lawn maintenance, and access to all of The Summit’s amenities at no additional charge.
